High View Cottage has been newly refurbished and offers contemporary but comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. It has a large decking area with incredible views, off-road parking (for one car) and outside storage for bikes, surfboards and wetsuits. Situated in Frog Lane, only 5 minutes walk from the cafes, restaurants and shops of Braunton centre and yet tranquil and on the edge of the rolling countryside, it is the perfect base for families, surfers or cyclists.
Location
The house is in Frog Lane, a beautiful road that runs along the top of the valley giving fantastic views over Braunton and beyond. The walk into Braunton centre only takes 5 minutes and can be done via an off road footpath which starts only metres from the house (although be warned that there are steps on this route) or via pretty residential streets down the hill. For cyclists, the off-road Tarka Trail cycle path starts only a couple of hundred metres from the house at the bottom of the street, while going up the hill leads immediately into quiet lanes with challenging hills and amazing countryside. For walkers, there is a footpath into the countryside directly behind the road which leads to the top of Braunton Beacon.
Being at the top of the hill, and with a quite steep path down to the front door, we would not recommend staying at High View for anyone with restricted mobility.
It is suitable for families with young children and babies.

THE OUTSIDE SPACE
Good sized decking area, table and chairs, parasol, small lawn area, outside shower (with hot water) for ease after the beach and surfing, large outside storage area with surf racks (body boards provided for your use during your stay but please note that you use them entirely at your own risk).
